The Travel Day

So the flight was quite nice. Since this was our family trip and we hadn't made that many during the year my dad splurged and bought us first class tickets. OH MY GOD -- they spoil you up there. I'm not sure i could go back to economy. They had 3 course meals and all the attendants were so nice (British Airways yo. USE THEM)

We had a layover in Heathrow and we went and used the British Airways lounge. I suddenly crashed and got super tired and cranky but some food helped. They had AWESOME Chicken Tangine . I don't know if its because in the plane everything tastes muted but it tasted SO GOOD. Also I've discovered a fondness for tonic water. It's quite refreshing but not like ridiculously sweet.

We caught our connecting flight to Stuttgart and i slept the whole way. It was roughly an hour and a half flight. I felt bad for this stewardess though. She told a man he had to put his chair back up right and he started yelling "I DONT RESPOND WELL TO COMMANDS. I WILL NOT! STOP" and its like chill dude. She's doing her job. She's not calling you out - it's everyone.

The airport in Stuttgart was beautiful. Not really wheelchair friendly - so many stairs but quite clean and nice. I was feeling absolutely busted though. 15 hours of travel makes me feel not refreshed especially because my skin is breaking out :/ Anyways i was thoroughly amused by the Sex shop in the airport NEVER IN AMERICA! haha

Stuttgart is beautiful though. Super green and lush. I don't know what i was expecting but not this! Pleasant surprise. Im staying at the La Meridien and it's quite lovely. I cannot connect to internet though. Apparently its free but I'm having troubles with it.**EDIT** I got it to work. But i can only use one thing at a time with the net.

I went to sleep at 8 last night so i am WIDE awake at 6/7 in the morning and since i haven't eaten since lunch yesterday I'm kind of epically snacking on anything i can. And my sister is a little bit sick so she's managing to sleep more. with no internet. THIS IS MOST UNFORTUNATE. AND THE BED IS HARD LIKE A ROCK. WHICH ALSO SUCKS.

**EDIT** Breakfast was delicious and amazing. They had honey comb. HONEY FUCKING COMB. WHERE THE FUCK DO YOU GET THAT? LA MERIDIEN! people keep speaking German to me. I know I'm in Germany but i don't understand. And speaking slower doesnt help me. at all. But its kind of refreshing and fun.

  1. Omggg you flew first class?!?!? Do you have pictures?! D: I'm curious how much nicer the stewardesses can get though, since they're usually already very nice in economy whenever I fly international...Well, most of them at least!

Can't imagine little wifi, gasp! Well have a fun rest of your trip!!

  3. I really really want to fly first class at least once in my life! I don't know, it's nothing that special actually I guess but it's something I'd like to experience! Hope you have fun in my homecountry, I've never been to Stuttgart though but I know the hotel Le Meridian, it's in every major city in Germany :) And you look too European so it's natural that everybody keeps talking German to you (and yes, they lime to refuse English as well, haha! :D) Travel safe! :)
